ANNUAL VILLAGE SHOW
The Schedule of Classes for this year's Annual Village Show on Saturday 6th September has now been published and can be downloaded here. The full Entry Details and Entry Form will be available in early August.
MOBILE POLICE STATION FOR RURAL AREA
The area mobile police station for the Rural Villages, run by WPC Julie Willis based at Newport Pagnell, visits Haversham each month parked in the layby on Manor Drive. Information on future dates is currently awaited.
NEW AREA BEAT OFFICER
Welcome to PC Andrew Perry has taken over from PC Mark Poulton as the Area Beat Officer for Haversham and Little Linford and other rural areas locally. Welcome too to Kirsty Barnes who is Police Community Support Officer for the local area.
M1 JUNCTIONS 13 (BEDFORD) TO 15 (NORTHAMPTON); NORTHBOUND RESURFACING
A programme of overnight resurfacing works is scheduled to start on Monday 9th June 2008 and is expected to take approximately 10 weeks to complete. Working hours will be between:
Monday to Thursday 22.00 - 05.30
Friday to Saturday 23.00 - 07.00
Saturday to Sunday 22.00 - 08.00
Sunday to Monday 24.00 - 05.30
During these times, it will be necessary to implement lane closures on the northbound carriageway between junctions 13 and 15 including slip road closures at junctions 13 and 14.
Signed diversion routes will be in place for traffic wishing to exit and enter the M1 northbound at junctions 13 and 14. Slip road closures will affect only one junction on any given night.
During nighttime works there will be a 50mph speed restriction in place and a lane restriction width of 2.9 metres to the northbound carriageway.
