101 -THE NEW POLICE NON-EMERGENCY NUMBER
Thames Valley Police has gone live with 101, the new national single non-emergency number, which will replace the 0845 8 505 505 number.
The 101 number should be used for all non-emergency calls. In an emergency, call 999. Calls to 101 (from both landlines and mobile networks) cost 15 pence per call.

PROPOSED WIND FARM BETWEEN HAVERSHAM AND LITTLE LINFORD
RWE Npower Renewables have now submitted a formal planning application to Milton Keynes Council for a wind farm with 5 wind turbines to be constructed on land between Haversham and Little Linford. The application and the associated documents can be viewed online at www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/publicaccess. Enter the public access area here and quote application number 11/02028/FULEIS. If you wish to express your own views on the application to Milton Keynes Council, this must be done before 7th November.
